Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is transmitted directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its response. We neither record nor retain those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email or other direct message as needed to answer it. The communication remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a visitor loads a page, the server automatically receives basic technical and usage details:
- Page-view dates and times
- Visited pages and time spent on them
- Device type and operating system
- Browser name and version
- The referring site, when available
- Your device's IP address

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not create, maintain, or sell a personal criminal-record database. Spalding County custodians, local courts, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Georgia Crime Information Center, and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry remain the official sources described here. Public agency records are governed by the Georgia Open Records Act, principally O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 through 50-18-77, while Georgia criminal-history dissemination is addressed in O.C.G.A. §§ 35-3-34 and 35-3-35C. We do not combine visitor information into a file about another person or a consumer report. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. A partner's privacy policy, retention rules, and disclosure practices govern information submitted through its tool. We do not control those practices. Review the applicable partner policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Spalding County offices, Georgia agencies, courts, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once you follow an external link, the destination's privacy policy controls the visit. Read that policy before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites and select targeted advertisements. We do not operate that tracking.
